The Old Vine Project (OVP) is a South African initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting vineyards older than 35 years. These heritage vines, deeply rooted in the Swartland’s rugged terrain, produce grapes of exceptional character and complexity.
The Kasteelberg Old Vine Project Chenin Blanc, was planted in 1986. This dry-farmed, bush-vine vineyard yields fruit that embodies the Swartland’s essence and the terroir of the Riebeek Valley.
